Today, we’re thrilled to announce the availability of the Appspace App for Windows, enabling Microsoft UWP devices to be used with Appspace for digital signage, kiosks, IPTV, video walls, room booking, and dashboards.
We’re very excited about introducing Windows compatibility for the Appspace App. With such a large market share, Windows is the go-to operating system for many leading organizations. Since announcing our plans to add compatibility for Windows, we’ve seen hugely positive feedback from both existing and new customers.”
Stan Stephens, Chief Science Officer
Windows support was a key Q1 2017 roadmap deliverable, and signals the start of a series of app updates that add compatibility with more industry-standard operating systems. Our engineers saw fantastic performance on both Windows 10 based media players, as well as tablet devices such as the Surface Pro. Upcoming Appspace App releases will see Android and iOS compatibility added.
